Mr. Alan Choy, Mr. Dominique Tu, Mr. Fung Lai Chi and Mr. Lindsay Chung jointly form the management team of Music Powerhouse Limited. Each brings in his own expertise in business development and operation, music content management and technical development disciplines respectively to embrace the challenge and growth opportunities in the evolving digital music world.
Alan Choy, Director (co-founder)
Formerly the Chief Operating Officer of I-Content Technology Limited who engineered and propelled the 1st legal digital music download website, EOLAsia.com, that featured 400,000 tracks licensed from the 4 major international record labels (EMI, Sony BMG, Universal & Warner) and numerous independent music companies in Hong Kong in 2005. In addition, EOLAsia.com collaborated with IFPI, CASH, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Intellectual Property Department to form joint industry efforts to promote legitimate digital music development and against piracy in Hong Kong via press events, trade conferences and roadshows in local schools.
Mr. Choy left I-Content Technology in 2006 and joined Yes TV (Hong Kong) Limited to develop and launch a digital music community website, YesYule.com, for the China market. The website promoted mainly independent artists and bands in China and built music fans communities.

Fung Lai Chi, Music Content Director (co-founder)
One of the most renowned music critics in Hong Kong with more than twenty years of experience in writing music reviews. Mr. Fung possesses great knowledge in Eastern and Western music of different genres and is most respected in analyzing Canto Pop music. He is a part-time lecturer in the Chinese University of Hong Kong teaching “Hong Kong Pop Music”. He takes educating a more mature and boarder musical taste to the Hong Kong public as his own mission.
Mr. Fung’s music review articles are published in the top selling newspaper and magazines including Next Magazine, Mingpao Weekly, Sing Tao Daily News, City Magazine and Cashflow (CASH’s society magazine) and many others. Music websites like MOOV, EOLAsia.com and 3 Music also carry his works. In addition, he was the Chief Editor of two local music magazines namely “Quotables” (豁達音樂誌向) and “Top” (純音樂雜誌).
Being an acclaimed music critic, Mr. Fung has been invited to the IFPI’s Hong Kong Music Fair 2006 & 2007, HK Literature Festival and various Universities as a guest speaker. In recent years, he joined judge panels for various Pop music contests held in China. Furthermore, Mr. Fung is a CASH(HK) member plus a member of the CASH(HK) Golden Sail Music Awards advisory board.

Lindsay Chung, Technical Director (co-founder)
Mr. Chung has spent 8 years in Microsoft focused on the development of digital rights management, digital video/audio streaming, compression and content protection technologies. With 4 years under the Headquarter’s Digital Media Division of Microsoft, he worked on projects with Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group’s Shanghai Broadcast Laboratory, Shanghai Telecom, Guangdong Telecom and Chunghwa Telecom in China and Taiwan.
Mr. Chung joined HK Cypberort to work on the ITF project DigitalCopyright.hk in 2004, with contribution to the e-Business World Summit Award in 2007. After leaving Cyberport i-Resource Centre in 2006, Mr. Chung joined Yes TV (HK) Limited as the Head of Technical Development responsible for the technical development of the digital music community platform, YesYule.com, in China.
Mr. Chung was a member of the Digital Entertainment Industry Support Coordinating Committee 2005-2006.

Dominique Tu, Non-Executive Director
Dominique has over 15 years sales & business development experiences in China and Asia Pacific. With proven ability to drive business growth through aggressive sales initiatives that deliver revenue growth, market share and market penetration.
Dominique is now working in Nokia as Business Development Director, Asia Pacific. Before joining Nokia, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Intellisync Corporation which being acquired by Nokia in 2006. Prior to this, Dominique was serving PalmSources Inc. as Managing Director, China / Director of Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific and was acquired by Access in 2005.
Dominique graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Master's of International Management from Macquarie University and has completed coursework toward a Ph.D. at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on China Consumer Behavior in new digital media. |
